US stocks ease gains in afternoon trade

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - US stocks lost some of their early gains and turned mixed on Monday despite the death of Osama Bin Laden, and some strong earnings reports. In the FX market, the Greenback is also mixed after a short-lived rally on Bin Laden's news.

The S&P 500 index is mostly flat around 1,364 points, it was up 7 points earlier, while the Nasdaq composite index is still struggling to consolidate at 10-year highs, currently down 0.4 points around 2,873.
