Forex: GBP/USD hits fresh session lows below 1.5550
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) – The Pound extended its decline and fell to 1.5537, reaching a fresh daily low. The pair has now fallen almost 200 pips from Friday’s high at 1.5730. Cable weakened further across the board during the American session and is headed toward an important daily decline across the board.
At the moment, GBP/USD trades at 1.5542/46, 0.68% below today’s opening price. The pair is falling on Monday after posting the first weekly gain since early August last week.
To the downside support levels could be located at 1.5520 and below at 1.5475/90 and 1.5445 (Sept 15 low) while resistance levels lie at 1.5570 and above at 1.5600 and 1.5630.
