Forex: USD/CAD surges to 1.0373 daily high
FXstreet.com (Buenos Aires) – Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney is on the wires with an official press release from BOC In concluding, where he claims that the economic policies are far from optimal right now: “We are three years into the global financial crisis, and its dynamics still dominate the economic outlook," Governor Carney said at the Spruce Meadows Changing Fortunes Round Table. "This would be true even if policy were optimal; but globally, this is not the case."
USD/CAD surged to a fresh daily high around 1.0373, after hitting a weekly low at 1.0285 on better than expected jobs numbers early today. Currently quoting around 1.0358, César Leiceaga from www.deltastock.com supports now come at 1.0345 and 1.0300 while he foresees resistance around 1.0400 psychological level.
