US Durable Goods Orders fail to materialize improvement

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The report released by the Census Bureau assessing the purchase of goods requiring higher investments was set to have a significant improvement over previous but largely failed.

Durable Goods Orders including all industries rose to 0.3% from an upwardly revised -0.1%, missing big at the market forecast of an upsurge to 3.0%.

If the Durable Goods Orders are stripped of the transportation industry purchases the indicator goes on a free fall from -0.6% to -3.8%, disregarding the expectations of a medicinal 0.5%.
