European markets down early
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - European markets have had a subdued morning with the major floors posting small losses. So far for today, the FTSE is down 0.26%, the DAX is down 0.19% and the CAC 40 is down 0.25%.
This tempered session comes on the heels of yesterday's 18-month high for the European benchmark index which is up 5.3% on the year.
Asian markets closed with mixed results. The Nikkie ended trading up 0.9%, while the Shanghai Composite was down 0.57%.
